Maybe you didn’t hear while watching CNN; but President Trump advocated for and signed into law the First Step Act, the most comprehensive criminal justice reform in a generation.
Same-sex marriage has been legal across the United States since the 2015 Supreme Court decision in Obergfell vs Hodges. Please describe how same-sex marriages have different protections than traditional marriages.

There is no inherent right to serve in the military. People are rejected for multiple reasons (see: todaysmilitary.com/joining-eligibility/eligibility-requirements).
It comes down to decisions by military leaders and civilians in control of the military to define characteristics that will provide for the fulfillment of national security objectives. Similarly, they identify characteristics that would not facilitate national security objectives or would be a detriment to those objectives.
Black people may be denied jobs for reasons other than being black. Just as white applicants could be denied jobs for the same reasons. Or Asian applicants… Or Chinese applicants. Etc.
Would you deny employers the ability to make value decisions of how a prospective employee will be of benefit to the company in their hiring decisions? There are already laws on the books preventing discrimination based on race, sex, physical disability, etc.
I’m not aware of a national epidemic of black people being sent home because of their hair. Is that really a systemic problem? Would you expect a national hair policy law to prevent it? Or, is it a local issue that could be solved by a change in school board membership?
Are there not South American “druggies and rapists” who have illegally entered the country and committed similar acts against American citizens here? Should we welcome murderers, rapists, child abusers, spousal abusers, terrorists, etc. with open arms simply because “they are trying to find a better life”? Would you reject ANYBODY wanting to come here?
I believe it’s a well-established tactic that drug and human traffickers have kidnapped or “rented” children believing they would receive better treatment by US Border Patrol if caught and could claim they were part of a family unit. Migrant children thrown into the cages built by the Obama/Biden Administration to house unaccompanied minors when they overwhelmed the system, were reunited once familial relationships could be established.
Would you rather they had been “automatically” returned to whomever they were with when arrested given the potential for that individual to be a drug or human trafficker?
The criminal justice system investigates every officer-involved-killing. When appropriate, charges are filed and a trial held. Juries assess the information on guilt or innocence presented and issue verdicts. How would you change that system?
Very often, the “story” which first surfaces and often “fans the flames of protests” is incomplete or false. “Hands up, don’t shoot”, Breonna Taylor was shot while sleeping in bed, etc.
Again, you may have missed it while watching CNN; but President Trump wants to designate the KKK, not as a hate group, but as a domestic terror organization, which, I would submit, carries more weight. As far as I can tell, he has not done so to date. Democrats have not been able to protect their militant arm (the KKK) “under the law” for decades.

What do you consider the “full context” of slavery?
