It's always interesting to read articles/comments or listen to pundits on TV who think they know what people think, what they know, or that they somehow vote "against their own interests".

You wrote "First of all, I am sure that most immigrants who were eligible to vote this year know next to zero about who Trump is".

To be eligible to vote, immigrants must first become citizens (unless they live in a blue state with lax election integrity laws). According to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, "The requirements generally include being a lawful permanent resident (LPR) for AT LEAST 5 YEARS [emphasis mine]". "The median years spent as an LPR for all citizens naturalized in FY 2023 was 7 years.". For people from many countries, they were here much longer.

If those immigrant voters who voted for Donald Trump were ever near a television or had Internet access, they have been exposed to a drumbeat of attacks on Donald Trump from incessant play of things like the Access Hollywood audio to repeated lies like the "very fine people" lie.

To imply that those people voted ignorant of everything Democrats accuse Donald Trump of being, everything he did as President, and all the damaging policies of the Biden-Harris Administration he will remedy, is condescending.

That many of those immigrants fall into demographics Democrats feel they own, a slight such as yours might have them labeling you something. I won't use the word; but, it's one of the Democrats favorite slights against Republicans. I'm sure you know it. It begins with an "r" and ends with a "t".
