I would be interested to hear the opinions of any lawyers reading on whether the sort of diversion program Hunter Biden received for his gun charge is common in federal court cases. I've read some opinions elsewhere it's practically unheard of in federal cases. I don't know, but I'm interested to hear the opinions of folks who might.

I'm pretty sure if anyone with a different ideology than you posted an article on Medium referring to Nancy Pelosi and AOC as "wenches", they would receive significant pushback in the comments section. I look forward to reading the comments from all the left-leaning feminists who may read this article.

Republicans did not censure Adam Schiff for "impeaching Trump". As Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Representative Schiff took every opportunity he could to appear on TV and ensure the American people there was direct evidence of President Trump and his campaign colluding with Russia. After the Mueller Investigation, Representative Schiff's assertions were revealed to be bald-faced lies.

As Chairman of the committee, Representative Schiff was privileged to information even other members of Congress were not aware. As such, he abused the trust of the American people that when he falsely claimed there was evidence of collusion, they should trust him because he was aware of the information others were not.

Two paragraphs of the House Resolution to censure Representative Schiff mentioned impeachment. One notes how Representative Schiff falsely denied that his staff communicated with a whistleblower in the first impeachment of President Trump. The second notes how he misled the public by reading a false retelling of a phone call between President Trump and the Ukrainian President.

That's two paragraphs out of a 14 paragraph resolution. So, Representative Schiff's ridiculous antics related to impeachment were hardly the main or only reasons for his censure.

First, anyone quoting the Southern Poverty Law Center as an authoritative source for identifying "hate groups" loses all credibility. SPLC labels any conservative, religious, and most "not-left" organizations as "hate groups". Second, MFL using the Hitler quote on their newsletter was not some sort of endorsement of Naziism or Hitler himself. Much of the past three years, Conservatives have been horrified to find out what teachers were teaching their children, what pornographic books their "not age appropriate" children had access to in school libraries, that teachers may be indulging their children's "transition" without parental consent, and that their children's story hour may have been being conducted by men in drag.

The quote obviously is in reference to how teachers (and by extension, the government) can abuse their captive audience to impart ideas and beliefs potentially in opposition to parent's desires. In effect, influencing their minds to "own" the youth and make them supportive of policies and changes to the way we live and the composition and power of government in the future.

Attorney General Lynch's failure to prosecute Hillary Clinton is probably when the concept of a two-tiered criminal justice system was solidified in the minds of most Americans. Those of us that have served in the military and held an above TOP SECRET clearance were especially appalled that her gross negligence in the handling of classified information resulted in not only no prosecution, but no sanctions of any kind for her or her subordinates. FBI Director Comey laid out in excruciating detail the myriad of ways in which Hillary Clinton violated the law. Then, inexplicably, recommended no charges citing the "lack of intent" to violate the law. EVERY instance of classified information being transmitted over Hillary Clinton's unsecured email server she used to thwart congressional oversight and to stymie Freedom of Information Act Requests required intent.

There is more evidence Hillary Clinton REPEATEDLY violated the law then there was that OJ murdered Nichole and Ron.

Just like much of the country believed the OJ trial result was inappropriate, many believe Hillary Clinton should have at least been indicted. That failure of the criminal justice system is not a reason for excusing President Trump's mishandling of classified information which I believe he did. I believe that President Biden also mishandled classified information over a period that extends back to his time in the Senate. But, neither should President Trump's lawyers and supporters let the American people forget Hillary Clinton's kid-glove treatment and failure to be indicted by Obama's DOJ or sanctioned in any way.
