I think the Trump policies and actions which resulted in record-low unemployment across the racial spectrum were a combination of things.
This article (https://www.theunion.com/opinion/columns/terry-mclaughlin-trumps-tax-cuts-and-deregulation/) gives a good breakdown as to how deregulation and allowing companies and individuals to keep more of their hard-earned money rather than confiscating it to feed a bloated and inefficient federal government helped increase jobs, reduce the poverty rate, etc.
With respect to the poverty rate, the article notes “poverty rates for every ethnic group fell to near or all-time record lows, which coincided with RECORD LOW EMPLOYMENT RATES FOR ALL RACES [EMPHASIS MINE].
It also notes that “In President Trump’s first three years in office median incomes for all households rose more than $6,000. In the previous sixteen years, under both the Bush and Obama/Biden Administrations, incomes rose less than $3,000. There was twice as much gain under the Trump Administration’s policies achieved in one-fifth of the time.”
Those aren’t just improvements for rich households or white households those are for ALL households.
“Every demographic saw a larger income gain in three years under the Trump Administration than in the eight years of the Obama/Biden Administration.” Again, EVERY demographic benefited from Trump’s pro-business and lower tax policies.
I don’t deny President Trump has put his foot in his own mouth on more than one occasion with respect to race.
IMHO, some of the accounts related in the articles you shared may involve people of other races; but, that doesn’t make the actions/comments “racist”.
The repeated canard replayed by the press that President Trump doesn’t condemn or disavow “White Supremacists” quick enough, or forcefully enough, or using the exact words the reporter expects and wants is ridiculous.
The recent Town Hall (more the contentious interview) with Savannah Guthrie (as opposed to the lovefest they gave Biden) is a perfect example (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHtFB5PSLqo).
Trump: “I denounce white supremacy”.
Guthrie: “This is a little bit of a dodge”.
Trump: “I denounce white supremacy”.
Guthrie: “It feels like sometimes you’re hesitant to do so”.
I think each of your sources continues to perpetuate the lie that President Trump referred to neo-Nazis and white supremacists as “very fine people” with respect to those at Charlottesville.
The transcript (https://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-trump-charlottesville-transcript-20170815-story.html) clearly indicates Trump specifically said he wasn’t referring to the neo-Nazis and white nationalists when he said there were “very fine people on both sides”. From the transcript:
“TRUMP: OK. Good. Are we going to take down the statue? Because he was a major slave owner. Now, are we going to take down his statue? So you know what? It’s fine. You’re changing history. You’re changing culture. And you had people, AND I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE NEO-NAZIS AND THE WHITE NATIONALISTS, BECAUSE THEY SHOULD BE CONDEMNED TOTALLY [emphasis mine]. But you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. OK?
With President Trump, the press twists everything to promote the theme he is a racist. He can apologize. He can clarify. It doesn’t matter. Even when he makes a clear statement about something they’ll claim it was a “racist dog whistle”. Not surprisingly, it’s a “whistle” generally only the reporters can hear.
Conversely, with Biden, he clearly insults every black person as not being able to make up their own mind as to who they should vote for and that he would deny them their “blackness” if they didn’t vote for him. He can “address” that and everything’s hunky-dory for people like you.
Maybe that says more about you than the many accusations leveled at the President
