I like how you didn’t try to refute anything in my comment and went straight to the ad hominem attack. That’s typical here on Medium, so I’m used to it.

I don’t and I don’t know anyone who “worships” Donald Trump or any Republican politician. It’s not like his supporters allowed their children to be compelled to sing songs praising him.

Neither did newspapers or magazines pictures try to make it appear like President Trump had a halo or crown of thorns on his head (Google “Magazine pictures make Obama look like Messiah”). One mainstream magazine even labeled Obama “The Second Coming”. I doubt you can find a mainstream Conservative outlet that did anything similar with President Trump.

But, IF you mean to deny the fact Donald Trump advocated for NATO signees to increase defense spending to better live up to their pledges of spending 2% of GDP toward defense in support of the organization and the fact signees INCREASED their defense spending during his term is simply to deny facts.

NATO’s own reporting indicates NATO Europe and Canada increased their annual defense spending each year of President Trump’s term by an annual average of 4.325%. That’s compared to a paltry 0.575% annual increase the previous four years.

Increased defense spending undoubtedly strengthens the alliance. That seems a strange act to advocate for if one wanted to “destroy NATO” as you asserted (completely without evidence).

Some people are upset the SCOTUS overturned the precedent established by Roe. But, a precedent poorly decided should be overturned and Roe (and Casey) were both poorly decided. The decision returns questions of abortion to the “democracy” many of those upset about the decision claim to revere.

I imagine you would’ve had a similar opinion about those who appointed the Justices when the SCOTUS overturned the precedent of Plessy vs Ferguson with their opinion in Brown vs Board of Education. Those like-minded of you got over that precedent overrule. I imagine you’ll get over this one.
