I didn't think it was a "gotcha" and racism definitely still exists. It's a human failing and, I think despite our best efforts, it will always exist. It's entirely possible that a man like that exists. It seems to me if someone was casting an antagonist for a movie about racism, they would cast someone as you describe. That's what I meant with my "caricature" comment.

I forgot about the Medium rules. In your article, you wrote that his workplace "announced that he was fired" and "stated that they didn't share or want to be associated with any of his views". Would there be any issues with sharing a link to that announcement?
