I actually expected VP Harris would eventually be elevated to the top of the ticket and that she would pick another woman, someone like Elizabeth Warren, as a running mate. To counter that, I proposed Republicans submitted Nikki Haley for President and Kristi Noem for VP. I was all set to vote for that kind of ticket. So, no, I don't think it's because they're women.
If the electoral college is such a "flawed system", why hasn't a Constitutional Amendment been proposed to eliminate it? That would show how our elected representatives felt about such a change, and, if approved by Congress, how your fellow citizens felt about such a change. That one has not been proposed would seem to indicate that the electorate would be dead set against it.
Anyone paying attention knows that President Trump will beat the felony convictions on appeal. However, that will take time. In the meantime, AG James and DA Bragg have fulfilled their purpose for Democrats. For years they've called President Trump a criminal. Now, they can do so legitimately until the charges are overturned.
I will give you "misogynist". Democrat Saint Bill Clinton who still had a speaking part at the latest DNC was a misogynist. The terms fraudster, liar, con man (woman), narcissist could equally be applied to all national politicians on both sides of the aisle.
Have you listened to the Gold Star families who lost loved ones during the Biden-Harris Afghanistan withdrawal debacle or the family of Laken Riley allegedly murdered by an illegal alien as to which candidates have "empathy"? Neither President Biden nor VP Harris have ever called or made an effort to comfort those families experiencing loss due to the policies of Biden-Harris. The Gold Star families didn't invite President Biden to the ceremonial wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns in honor of their lost ones. They probably figured he would spend most of his time checking his watch like he did during the Dignified Transfer of Remains at Dover Air Force Base. Neither was the VP invited. They invited President Trump because he has called them to express his condolences and because he has shown empathy. With whom has VP Harris shown empathy (I mean besides Hamas)?
Self-aggrandizing? Have you listened to a KJP "briefing"? Everything about the current administration is the best this, the most impressive that, the most significant in the modern era, etc. She doesn't seem to know that, no matter how many times she repeats something, that doesn't make it true.
What makes you think you are so morally superior that your ideas for the "better overall good" are any better than mine or the tens of millions of other Trump Supporters? You may believe trying to "buy votes" through forgiveness of student loan debts or promising to subsidize new housing purchases with $25,000 of taxpayer money or letting every criminal, no-fly-listed terrorist, and low-skilled worker into the country unvetted and unknown is for the "better overall good". I do not and neither do tens of millions of other Trump Supporters.
I don't know why other people prefer President Trump to VP Harris. I'll give you my reasons:
President Trump has proven he can get the economy humming. VP Harris has proven she cannot. If we weren't coming out of the pandemic, virtually all of the positive Biden-Harris numbers on the economy would be underwater.
President Trump has proven he will put Americans first when dealing with foreign countries. VP Harris has not. How many billions of dollars has Biden-Harris made available to the terrorists in Iran? How much did Iran enrich uranium when they knew how desperate Biden-Harris were to restart the disastrous Iran Nuclear Arms Deal?
President Trump has proven he knows that when you unleash American fossil fuel producers, the country can become a net-exporter of fossil fuels and won't have to provide capital for energy to countries that don't like us very much. VP Harris has shown the exact opposite. She would rather not exploit our vast resources of fossil fuels, she would ban fracking, and instead mandate unscalable, inefficient, and totally inadequate for our electric grid renewables.
I imagine you would counter with VP Harris' recognition of "Climate Change" as the existential threat it is. "Climate Change" is only the latest iteration of this farce. First it was "Global Warming". That's because it's all based on anthropogenic global warming theory. That's a theory that has been disproven by observation. If it were accurate, global temperatures would have climbed much higher already. They haven't. Neither have most of the predictions of anthropogenic global warming theory heretics the past 50 years.
Unfortunately for them, global temperatures dropped in the early 2000's. There is a hilarious video on YouTube called "Hide the Decline" if interested. Leftists stopped referring to it as "Global Warming" and started referring to it as "Climate Change". That way, whether temperatures go up or down, they can blame it on "Climate Change". In reality, politicians always supported it as a means of control. It's understandable why VP Harris promotes it.
President Trump has proven through his deeds his support of the US military. Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines, the most qualified group to speak on this, overwhelmingly support President Trump. For reasons why they don't support VP Harris, see above as example 1 of 525,607. Being a veteran myself, I agree with my brethren, and I don't know a single veteran who doesn't.
President Trump wants to let me keep more of my hard earned money. VP Harris wants to take more of my money from me to give it to an inefficient, bloated, federal government that will not stop spending money we do not have.
President Trump understands the scientific advantages biological males have over biological females and how important it is that biological females feel safe in their own spaces. VP Harris would force biological females to endure the indignity of having someone with male sexual organs in their spaces. She would also subject them to potential injury and the loss of scholarship opportunities by forcing biological females to compete athletically against biological males. I have nieces that just started getting old enough to play organized sports. I don't want them to live under the conditions favored by VP Harris.
President Trump understands that our military, our law enforcement, our teachers, pretty much everyone has something better they could be doing besides wasting time and resources on DEI training. Are you lethal enough to fight and win our wars? Can you prevent crime and make timely arrests of perpetrators? Can you teach our students the subjects for which you were hired? VP Harris would rather troops in their foxholes be concerned about whether their platoon is diverse enough and other such drivel.
There are more reasons I and tens of millions of other voters will be looking to return President Trump to the Oval Office this November.
