As I wrote in my response, I think it’s a foregone conclusion there will be challenges to mail-in ballots by BOTH candidates.

There potentially could be enough disputed ballots to swing a state electoral result.

That pretty much guarantees the Supreme Court will “cast the deciding vote” to determine who wins most likely weeks after election day.

I think in the President’s unique way that’s what he has been referring to with his answers when folks have asked him about the “peaceful transfer of power”.

I think he interpreted the question as “if Biden is ahead on election day, will you concede”. Since he anticipates there will be ballot challenges and he believes (no matter how wrongly) that there may be voter fraud, he wasn’t willing to make the “peaceful transfer of power” commitment.

Anyway, according to CNN, President Trump now says he will commit to a peaceful transfer of power, but he wants it to be “an honest election”.
